George joins Mrs. Gray's class on their field trip to the fire station. While there, the firefighters get a call. George jumps on the fire truck and ends up at a burning pizza parlor. George wants to help but the firefighters say "a fire is no place for a monkey!" and ask him to stay out of the way. George finds some balls and starts juggling. The juggling entertains the frightened children. A mother thanks the firemen for bringing the monkey and the fire chief is forced to admit George was helpful when they return to the station.
